Murphy Community Grief Center, the specialized and unique services we provide our veteran patients and families, or patients and families that would not otherwise have the resources to pay for their care. All of these services are provided at NO CHARGE to any adult who has experienced the loss of a loved one.
Because of your generosity, Visiting Nurse provided over

worth of charity care to patients who did not have the ability to pay in 2019.
Music Therapy
Music therapy is another offering provided by Visiting Nurse for both patients and grief clients. In 2019, over 1,100 music therapy sessions took place. Each session is unique and is specific to the individual needs of each patient. Music can engage every part of the brain, and it is able to reach in and connect with the patient in ways that other forms of therapy cannot access. Music therapy in the hospice setting provides pain relief, opportunities to reminisce and comfort at the end of life.
Your gift provides support to families, care to patients and a life line to those adults in our community who have experienced the loss of a loved one. Without your generosity, none of these offerings would have been possible.
Employee Impact Fund
The Employee Impact Fund offers Visiting Nurse employees the opportunity to continue their education, meet career goals and further the quality of compassionate care provided for our community.
