What is Hospice Home?

Visiting Nurse’s Hospice Home provides high-quality, patient-focused medical care to those needing more intensive monitoring and treatment than can be managed in the home. Providing a warm and comforting home-like environment, Hospice Home is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Visitors, including children, are welcome at any time, day or night.

  • The region’s only free-standing hospice facility staffed around the clock with dedicated hospice-certified caregivers

  • 24-hour care, with inpatient levels of care for symptom management such as pain control, nausea and respiratory difficulties

  • Nursing services specializing in end-of-life care

  • Respite care available

  • Hospice physicians who visit patients and meet with families to manage patient care

  • Integrative therapies such as music therapy, massage and pet therapy visits

  • Spiritual caregivers on-call and in person

  • Volunteers to provide companionship

  • All private rooms
